SRO 20" F/4 Folded Newtonian Project

SRO has acquired and began testing a 20" F/4 folded Newtonian telescope.  We have completed the initial testing and the results are encouraging.  Further testing is planned during the Arizona monsoon season so as not to encroach on the current observing programs.  Below are some pics of the modifications we performed and a 60 second image of M3.
