Sonoita Observatories
Welcome our home page. Sonoita Observatories consists of two different observatories at the same location. The first is Sonoita Hills Observatory operated by Mike Shade. SHO is dedicated to Ha, L, R, G, B imaging of a variety of different objects in the night sky. The second is Sonoita Research Observatory directed by John Gross in collaboration with Walt Cooney, Dirk Terrell, and Arne Henden. It is dedicated to asteroid photometry, astrometry and variable star studies. Below are links to the pages for the individual observatories.
